Comodo System Cleaner is a freeware utility that centralizes all of the maintenance computer tasks. In addition to the ability to clean up and optimize the system, there are utilities to make diagnostics or do benchmarking tasks, just to mention two of them.
With a nice interface that allows users, both beginners and advanced, to do complex tasks like cleaning the system registry or deletting the mostly useless junk files, like the temporary ones with a few clicks. The program also offers capabilities for carefully erasing your traces of using the computer, like history in Internet navigation programs, in instant messengers and other programs that store the user information. In regard to security, there is an undoubtable plus: there are tools to permanently erase the files, completely eliminating the “trace” of the file, that remains on the hard disk. These traces could allow someone to recover a file easily with specific software. Another feature available is the possibility of locking folders. There is also an effective encryption utility available, adding to the solution of all the security matters.
It’s possible to deeply customize the system behavior, like eliminating the arrow from shortcut icons, or disabling alerts like “new hardware found”. |
